Drake now offers an integral power steering conversion for your 1965-70 Classic Mustang. The conversion box is a remanufactured modern integral power steering gearbox. It provides true modern power steering feel, feedback and sporty 16:1 ratio. It has been remanufactured to bolt directly to the factory mounting location and to fit the stock pitman arm without any interference or modification of the shock tower. 1965-67 Mustangs will require replacing column shaft. 68-70 Mustangs will need the factory column collapsed 1-2” for clearance. Eliminate your leaky control valve and sloppy steering. Feel the road with our new integral power steering conversion kits. We offer both Kits to convert from MS to PS and Factory PS to PS. Please note Factory Ford Pumps work fine with these Kits above Idle but will offer very little power assist under 800 RPM’s. We can special order a PS to PS Kit with a modern Saginaw Pump that is more effective at Lower RPM’s. Note: Will not fit manual transmission cars with factory equalizer bar. Due to the fact that there are 8 possible kits for 1967, some will cross-over to listed kits, and others are available as special order, so please call.
